I really love the new Tim Holtz Alterations Vintage Globe die cut. I used black glitter paper, Webster's Pages "Clean & Simple - In Love. HEARTBEATS" front and back on the card on the left, and with KaiserCraft "Relax" from The Lake House Collection on the right, I added a red glittered heart punched out with the Fiskars "Funky Heart" squeeze punch and wings punched from packing paper using the Fiskars "Love Takes Flight" psqueeze punch. I made the words on the computer and used distress ink by Ranger on the edges of the left one, which made everything stand out better. Random winner will get 5 of the Vintage Globe shapes cut from chipboard. How would you use this die cut?
The winner is Kelly Sas - email me Kelly with "Winner" in the subject line.

Wow! You should be a sales rep for Tim's Dies. I have never seen these before. Do you have his die cut machine? I really want to find this Globe die!!! I would be thrilled to win these from you. If I did I think I would make one card immediately for the teacher I volunteer for. I would also use one in my China travel journal/scrapbook I made on our trip. I still haven't done the cover yet and this would be cool! Keep posting Tims dies on the Fiskateer gallery and here too so I learn what else he has! LOL

Super fun cards, Donna..
ReplyDeleteGreat cards Donna! What a great way to tell someone they are special. I would use three in layout kits for myself, Sister-in-law and Mother. The other two would be for cards just like yours.
